Privacy Policy
Effective date: 8 July 2026
Habit Battery ("the app", "we") is built around a simple promise: your habits are your business. This policy explains what data the Habit Battery mobile app (on iOS and Android) handles and where it lives, and applies to all versions of the app.
Who we are
Habit Battery is published by HTI Software and Consultancy BV, Kwadeveldenstraat 30, 2170 Antwerp (Merksem), Belgium — enterprise number 1024.112.142 (VAT BE 1024.112.142). HTI is the data controller for the limited processing described here. Contact: info@htisoftware.com.
1. Your data stays on your device
All habit data (your habits, check-ins, notes, battery levels, streaks, Volts, room purchases and settings) is stored locally on your device only. We do not operate servers that receive, store or process this data. We cannot see it, and neither can anyone else through us.
2. No account, no tracking
The app does not require an account, does not collect your name, email address or any other personal information, and does not contain advertising or third-party analytics trackers.
3. Purchases
Subscriptions and one-time purchases are processed by Apple (App Store) and Google (Google Play). To unlock Premium we use RevenueCat, Inc. as our purchase-validation provider: it receives a random, app-generated identifier and the status of your purchase — never your name, email or payment-card details. Apple, Google and RevenueCat act as independent controllers/processors for that transaction under their own privacy policies, which provide protections equivalent to those described here.
4. Notifications
If you enable reminders, notifications are scheduled locally on your device. No notification data leaves your device.
5. Data export and deletion
You can back up your data at any time via Settings › Data, and erase everything via Settings › Data › Reset all data. Deleting the app also deletes all of its data from your device. Because we keep no copy of your habit data on any server, there is nothing for us to retain or delete on your behalf — you are always in full control.
6. Children
The app is suitable for general audiences and does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children.
7. Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be available at this address with a new effective date. Material changes will be announced in the app.
8. Your rights & contact
Because everything is stored locally and we hold no personal data on our side, there is normally nothing for us to access, correct or delete for you — it all lives on your device, under your control. For any privacy question, or to exercise your rights under the GDPR, email the data controller HTI Software and Consultancy BV at info@htisoftware.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be).
